Everyone's falling under my spell!
Everyone's falling under my spell!
Everyone's having Bieber fever (okay, maybe not you haters). Hollywood is no exception. Rihanna and Katy love the boy. Justin Timberlake wants to sign him up but lost the deal to Usher. And recently, Johnny Depp was spotted at his concert.
Now, country superstars Rascal Flatts have revealed that they have recorded a song with the teen heartthrob.
"(Justin) asked us to do a duet with him on his next record," Gary LeVox told Nashville radio station WSIX. "It's  actually a really good song!"
Rascal Flatts are not the only star working with Justin on his new album. Ne-Yo told Billboard that he has written some songs for the 16-year-old singer and Diddy has been seen in the studio with Justin too.

No, we just like pancakes. Serious!
No, we just like pancakes. Serious!

OK, will they come out and confirm it already?

I mean first they were spotted in Philadelphia having pancakes and holding hands.
And now Justin and Selena have been spotted strolling around South Beach in Miami. Check out the latest pics.
When Selena was asked to explain the Philly pancake date, she simply said: “It was pancakes. Who doesn’t like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That’s all it is. All innocent.”
Nevertheless, one of The Biebs’ latest tweets suggests that it’s perhaps more than just pancakes and walks.

Tweeted Justin:  “Waking up in Miami is a beautiful thing. Have a feeling the show tonight is gonna be crazy.”
Now, what do you think? Are they or aren’t they?

If it is not the top of the charts, Google or YouTube’s most popular lists, Forbes has revealed that Justin Bieber is also the world’s most influential member of Twitter.
I'm king of the world
I'm king of the world

It was revealed that the teen icon tops Forbes list, which is based on Klout score. This number is ‘calculated’ based on a Twitter member’s number of followers, how quickly and how often they will be retweeted, the frequency of tweets and how influential others are in that person’s network. Justin apparently earned a perfect 100.

He beat out Twitter handles for Joe Jonas, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and even the Dalai Lama.

Johnny Depp has been infected with Bieber fever. The Tourist actor was spotted amongst millions of fans at Justin’s sold out concert at Miami’s American Airlines Arena. However, his appearance was announced when Justin made an on-stage announcement saying, “Johnny wants to hear Baby” before proceeding to his popular hit single.
Another one bites the dust

The paparazzi caught the actor as he was making a hasty exit through the back stage door after the show. Alas, now we know that the Golden Globe nominee has joined the dubious ranks of Usher and Katy Perry as fans of the  singing sensation.

On Tuesday evening, MTV News was on hand when Justin Bieber was discovered laying down tracks at Diddy's recording studio in New York City.

"In the studio getting creative," he wrote "Just got to show luv to my big bro @ and his new album 'Last Train to Paris.' "
Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, explained to us that the pop star had an idea for a song that he needed to "get off of his chest," and that Diddy's studio is like a second home for the teen superstar.
MTV News was spending the day with Diddy, who just released his Last Train to Paris album. Though the rap mogul hardly ever stops working himself, he jokingly complained about Bieber being too busy for him these days.
"Well, I mean, you try to get in contact with me through all my partners and whatnot, but you never really got my number, so you want my number?" the 16-year-old responded.
After an exchange of phone numbers, Diddy made Bieber an official member of Diddy-Dirty Money and gave him and Braun the group's official varsity jacket. "Go get the album. Everybody if you're anybody you'll go get the album," Bieber said endorsing Last Train.
"It's gonna be the greatest album you ever heard," he later added. "Everybody's on this album. Go get this album. We're out."
"I've missed the studio. Just making music," Bieber later tweeted. "Made some great records tonight. Now en route to see my big bro @."
Bieber then went to take in Usher's show at Madison Square Garden, later tweeting, "big bro @ killed it at MSG tonight. ... I had to come thru and support #family."

It looks like Justin Bieebr will not have this on his permanent record. After facing possible sanction for an incident at a Richmond, British Columbia, laser-tag park where he allegedly punched a 12-year-old boy in the face, police in Richmond said they have decided not to file charges against Justin Bieber.
"The file in regard to the alleged assault at the entertainment center has been concluded, and no charges will be forwarded," Corporal Turley of the Richmond Royal Canadian Mounted Police told MTV News on Tuesday (December 14). "The investigation is complete." Turley said the evidence collected did not support going forward with the investigation, noting that she was unable to confirm whether Bieber was one of the persons involved because of a law prohibiting the dissemination of information into criminal cases involving youths.
Bieber had been accused of getting into a scuffle with the unidentified boy during an October 15 session at the Planet Lazer Entertainment Center in Richmond. According to reports, Bieber got angry when the boy allegedly hurled a homophobic slur at him and lashed out in response.
The boy sustained minimal injuries after what TMZ reported was an incident in which Bieber, 16, was targeted by an overzealous laser-tag player who used an anti-gay slur against him. When the 12-year-old stuck his hand out toward Bieber, the "Baby" singer reportedly batted it away and left the park.
A short time later, Bieber spoke out against bullying and posted an "It Gets Better" clip. In it, he said, "Hey guys, I'm Justin Bieber. I just wanted to say there's nothing cool about being a bully. And if you're getting bullied, make sure to tell someone and, you know, it gets better. And if you're a bystander, make sure to step in and, you know, help out."

In February fans will finally get the chance to see Justin Bieber's long-awaited "Never Say Never." And the flick's director, Jon Chu, recently dished to MTV News that things are coming along fine as he puts the finishing touches on the February 11 release.
"Oh, we stand pretty tall. It's nuts! This is a world that I have never experienced before," he laughed to MTV News about the 3-D film. Chu, who was promoting the DVD release of "Step Up 3D," said getting the fans' support has been invaluable.
"Again it's like dance, where music tells the story. It's really interesting and his fans have been amazing, shooting him in 3-D in Madison Square Garden, exploring his life, going to his hometown. We're almost done with our cut right now and I'm really proud of it. I think people are going to be surprised about the story that they're going to get. Something is really special."
Bieber tweeted about seeing the film recently and gave it his seal of approval. And Chu admitted to us that he's feeling the pressure now to make the best possible film.
"I mean, I'm always nervous. We're always trying to make our movies better," he explained. "We're never done with it though. I just keep going until they tell me I've run out of time. So [Justin] got to see it this week, which was really exciting and he loved it, which is always scary when you try to show someone the story of their life, but he's been very supportive, he and his family and his team. I'm excited to share it with the world and show another side of 3-D. With 'Step Up 3D,' we learned a lot of lessons and we discovered a lot of things, and it's just the beginning.

Do you hear what I hear? I'm on top of another chart!

Justin Bieber was the world's most-streamed music artiste in 2010, according to numbers shared  by video analytics company TubeMogul. Justin collected 1.07 billion streams through 7 Dec.
TubeMogul's figures include streams from YouTube and MySpace for the five biggest publishers of music video content (EMI,  Hollywood Records, Sony Music, Universal Music Group and Warner  Music Group).
Justin is common on YouTube's all-time list, too. His video for Baby featuring Ludacris, is YouTube's all-time most viewed video with 405 million streams through Dec. 8. Never Say Never featuring Jaden Smith is 16th with 118 million views and Never Let You Go is 20th with 106 million views.
Just as impressive as his dominance in 2010 streams is his market share. Bieber's 1.07 billion streams in 2010 represent an incredible 6.9 percent of the 14.8 billion videos streamed by the top five publishers this year. In other words, about one of every 14 streams for the top five publishers was a Justin Bieber video.

Justin Bieber and The Canadian Tenors rehearse, as Bieber demonstrates a new trick with the microphone stand, at the Air Canada Centre.

To tell you the truth, that's a question I never thought I'd be in a position to answer, until I spent a couple of hours with him last month, during the taping of his segment for the CBC-TV holiday special, Season of Song: The Canadian Tenors and Friends, which airs Dec. 13 at 9 p.m.
Getting Bieber onto the show happened so quickly that there wasn't any time to shoot him in the studio with the other guests like David Foster and Paul Anka. No, the tenors and the entire CBC crew had to come down to the Air Canada Centre and grab a couple of hours with The Biebs in between his sound check and the show.
It was a tricky thing to pull off and everybody seemed nervous about it except the superstar himself. The first section was going to be one of those “informal backstage chat” things and the cameras were set, the tenors were ready and everyone was Waiting For Justin.
Then he appeared and that's when I came across the first of the 10 Things I Learned About Justin Bieber
1.  HE LOVES HIS SEGWAY

Bieber got a lot of press this past summer using a Segway scooter to escape from a crowd of female fans in Phoenix, but it was also his chosen mode of transportation to scoot around backstage at the ACC. In fact, we heard him before we saw him “Yo, dudes!” he called out as he rounded a corner, the bright blue Segway shining in the light. He hopped off so lightly and with such ease that one of the tenors wanted to try it. “Keep still, man, and go with the flow. It takes care of the balance itself,” was his advice, but the tenor (who shall remain nameless!) started wobbling on it and the Segway was retired.
2. HE'S GOTTEN REALLY THIN

Think of all the times you've seen Bieber in print or on TV. He's always seemed like a cherubic lad, not quite the Pillsbury Doughboy, but the kind of kid whose cheeks older woman always wanted to pinch. In fact, the giant poster for him that filled the wall behind his stage at the ACC showed just such a visage.
But the young man next to me had no weight to spare. Not sickly, just lean and compact. Perhaps most importantly, the eyes that shine out at you from underneath those bangs now look as though they've seen a lot in a very little while. He's not a boyish teen idol any more, but a young man, with a bit of danger about him. And in the world of pop stardom, that's a very good thing.
3. HIS HAIR HAS A LIFE OF ITS OWN

When I told people I was going to spend some time with Bieber, the one request from everyone was “find out about his hair.” Those eminently flappable bangs have fascinated men, women and children around the world and I was supposed to discover their secret. Here's the news, everybody. There is no secret.
Bieber's hair owes its appeal to two things: its own God-given shine and the work of a really good stylist. How can I tell? I swear that no less than 20 occasions in our time together, he lifted up his hat, shook his head and those bangs fell back into shape naturally every time. No product need apply.
4 . HE'S A CONSIDERATE GUY

It happened really quickly, the kind of moment I don't think anybody noticed except Bieber, me and the third guy involved. He was one of the technicians who had to move a ramp backstage into position quickly as the tenors and Bieber walked over it. A fairly routine task, but something went wrong. The tenors passed over fine, but just as Bieber started up the ramp, the guy slipped and a mass of wood and metal crashed onto his foot. Bieber stopped instantly, bent over the man and asked “You okay, man?” The technician nodded silently, Bieber clapped him warmly on the shoulder and bounded onto the stage. One of those random moments of kindness that pass without notice. Most of the time.
 5. HE LIKES TO HAVE FUN

Onstage with the tenors, Bieber chattered with them in the tradition of variety shows since time immemorial, but interestingly Bieber didn't want to stick to scripted patter. Instead, he goofed around with his band, practised new dance moves and demonstrated an onstage trick (seeming to throw the microphone stand to the floor then bringing it magically back up again) Then he attempted to teach the tenors how to duplicate it. “Feel it fall, man, then kick it with your foot.” They tried and got it. Sort of. Bieber had the good grace not to mock them.
6.  HE'S NOBODY'S FOOL

The high point of Bieber's appearance was his new song, “Pray.” Before a small audience of invited fans (99.99 per cent female and teenage), Bieber sold the song with the kind of full-out energy you've seen if you've ever caught him in live performance.
He had been told it would be a one-take affair and he gave it all he had. Pretty amazing, in light of the fact he had a live concert coming in a few hours. But when it was over, it seemed that the CBC people wanted him to sing it all full-out again. He held his ground. “Things are getting shady,” he said firmly and a compromise was finally reached involving a few extra pickup shots. Bieber knew his fans that evening wouldn't want to be cheated.
7. HE'S GOT SOMETHING TO SAY

Bieber has admitted before that his new holiday song, “Pray,” was inspired by his devotion to the late Michael Jackson's work, in particular, “Man in the Mirror.”
But when I asked Bieber what really made him start to write the song, he said, “So many hurts and hopes across the world were very inspiring. I think we should all pray for a ‘better day.' There are so many troubles in the world but we just have to bow our heads and pass them along for God to handle and trust that all will be okay.”
8. HE LOVES THE HOLIDAY SEASON

During one of the pauses in shooting, Bieber was asked how he felt about this time of year and what he missed in particular about being in Stratford. “I miss just being around my friends and family. There's nothing like spending the holiday season at home but I've been travelling a lot and really experiencing some great things. I'm very blessed.
9. HE'S GRATEFUL

While waiting for some lights to be reset, the tenors were discussing what they were going to buy various relatives and friends for Christmas and Bieber suddenly got a faraway look in his eyes. I asked him what the toughest Christmas in his youth had been like, but he chose to see the glass as half-full instead. “I don't ever feel that way. I just think the best way to look at it is that I've had some great Christmas memories! Just spending time with family and friends is enough for me.” Did he have any Christmas wishes for the world? “I have a lot of wishes, but basically, I wish that people would be happy.”
10. THE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE AN EXIT

:The taping was over, the fans heading home, the lights coming down. Just enough time for Bieber to chill a bit, grab some dinner and then nail it to the wall for 20,000 screaming fans 90 minutes later. As he's heading to his dressing room, he stops, puts his arm around me and turns us to a waiting photographer. Kodak moment over, he punches my arm lightly. “Catch you later man.” One of the tenors, watching him leave, wisely observed, that “He's growing up fast. Faster than the speed of sound.”

Can't get enough of me? Good! Cos I also can't get enough of myself

While some celebrities are wary on what merchandise they put out in the market, Justin Bieber has no qualms when it comes to putting his name on stuff. There’s the nail polish, singing dolls and home collection. But that’s not the end of it. Entertainment collectible company Panini America has just launched the Justin Bieber trading card set!

“I always dreamed of being a hockey player and having my own trading card,'' the 16-year-old singer said in a statement. ``I remember collecting hockey cards, so the idea that kids are going to enjoy my cards like I enjoyed my hockey cards is amazing!''

The collection includes 150 cards and 30 stickers, with four nine-card puzzles that let fans create small Justin posters. Each pack is said to cost US$1.99 and will include five trading cards and one sticker.
What next Justin? Sneakers? Hair gel? Cupcakes?
